We just took ours out this last weekend also.Went to Bass lake,Ca.by Yosemite.Crappy weather,so we were glad to have the tent trailer.Lots of rain& no prob. stayed dry inside,no leaks at all, cold too,so we fired up the heater.
Elevation was only like 4000 ft.so no snow, some hail. The 80 did good towing,I just took it easy, tried not too rev.the thing too hard.Used the power button?? did not notice much of a differance, maybe just changes the shift points a little?? How does everyone else use theirs ie. power button/OD on off??Towing down& up big grades, that was the highest I have had mine up so far,any tips for towing at elevation??
Ele.Brakes work great, also getting the hang of it backing up into campsites/my driveway(a little steep).
I will have to post up a photo of mine set up in the driveway, trying to get it level is real hard.I had to open mine back up after we got home on sun.too let it dry out from the rain.I will snap a pic.Fun stuff,I am getting better at the set up time also!

we were at wentworth springs and damned glad to have the trailer.

Douglas, nice pics. man.Looks like you were just a bit higher up(lots)to get the snow. How was the trip up,that ice house rd. goes up real high! I wonder what that elevation change is? Nice set up w/ the lifted trailer& 80!! We will prob. see you guys at pismo this year or sonner. You guys should take the 80 on the easy side of Deer Valley trail off hwy.88& do the 45/55 run.I am prob.going to go& just tent camp.I am not going to drag my trailer in there, although 88 side is easy.

We wont be doing the Rubithon this year but will be up at union and utica lakes. There is a nice little cove we plan on camping at on union lake, It will be a short but tight trail to get the trailer down. For a day trip we may do the slick rock trail if I can find it.
