Parking lot 4..

It was a great day with a record 360 vehicles in the show. We had 9 rigs in our group and 8 of us got to park in a row.

Nice gathering of cruisers there! Was the highlight for my kids and I when we walked through. Nice to see your 40 again Vern; looked really great.

and all of the 4x4's at the show minus Jordan and a stock samurai

Funny thing happened on the way to the show.
When we got there about 9 there was already about 200 vehicles in the lot and most were ricers and somehow they all looked the same.
Then down the road came this line of machines that were much taller than the others and looked like a scene from Mad Max. They were loud and smelly and dusty and rusty and I heard someone say OMG they don't have sparkplugs. Women pulled their small children and wash mitt like dogs dogs out of the way to let these beasts go by. Brave men with large cameras ran to the edge of the road to get a close up shot. What are those things someone yelled and a no-it-all said "there not Jeeps they look too tough and there not Land Rovers cuz the lights work and the engine is not spewing out oil so they must be Land cruisers" An alert organizer who realized he had something special for his show came over and took us out of the long lineup and gave us our own row. Scantily clad skanks left their tattooed companions and slithered over to get a close look at what real men were driving. Old men with canes came by and told us how the used to drive one of those in the war and I didn't want to tell them they were not Heeps. All in all it was a great day to own and drive a Cruiser.
