I think there are 3 access points, the 2 mentioned and one that cuts over to Usary pass about halfway during the trail. Any suggestions on which way is better?
Don't no the area to well so I would pick one meeting spot entrance so no one is confused as to where to meet. Also do you plan to head over to the pavillion right after the run? How many do you know of that are going to the pavillions? As of now I am not sure I will be going on the run but would like to meet up at the pavillion.

Are there any points on this trail to get out before reaching the end? I likely need to be back home by 4ish. Thanks

There are no exit points until the end . If we can leave between 10 and 11 , 3 hours is a reasonable estimate of time on the trail .

I haven't been there for several years. Very scenic, nice trail. Looking forward to the run ~

Same here. Can't wait to see everyone again on Saturday.

Maybe its me but I am still confused as to where to meet at Bulldog?

I think we are meeting at the Frys Gas station:

Start: 9:00am at the Frys gas station off 90th St. and 101. Just south of Shea exit. 8900 E Via Linda, Scottsdale, AZ. Travel time is 35min to trail head. secondary meetup is the parking lot east, next to trail head. we should be there by 10am.

Gonna try to make this one - see you at access #1 around 930am or so.

Can we confirm this? I'm leaning towards making this my son's first run, but am pretty confused on where everyone is meeting (other than Fry's). I'm Southwest, so I'm looking at the 10 to the 202, Shea isn't very convenient.

Another question: Are the starting and finishing points close to one another? I'm considering towing the 40. Thanks.

You going on this run?

you coming up? Id like to see the new 80 in action :steer:

they do not end close to one another but can drive back around via freeway.

I will admit this does seem confusing as to which trail will your running with all the different maps posted in this thread. I think post where you leave the pavement and get back would help. I was hoping to make this one but I'm don't have the day off from my caretaker duties. CV axle is all in and just need to install the skid plates up front.

Need to remind everybody again to be sure and have the pass needed. Of coarse because I can't go I did remember a pass was needed.
