Can we still put my engine, tranny, t case in? I've ordered all the parts.

Just me what kind of food to bring and I will do it, beer as well.

I'm pretty sure that it should be ok... if we can get them in for you, will you be able to tow it home and button it all up?

Yes I will be able to tow it home, have a car trailer. Now as far as "button it all up" that might take me awhile but it will get done. My 40 has a lot of work to be done to it. We could spend all weekend just on it.
I figured putting the engine, tranny and tcase in would be a great accomplishment and would be a great help to me. The rest I will get done in due time.
Just let me know what kind of food we need. I will bring it. Where is a good place to stay out that way? Any hotel recomendations in the area?

Bad part about hotels is i am out in the country away from them . There are some in Fayetteville that are probably about 45 minutes away. They are mostly on the 95 coridor. I have room inside for 1 person. The dog takes the other bedroom and i am not trying to wrestle it away from him as he weighs more than me. If someone has a cot or 2 the garage has insulation. Will not stay hot but with a good fart sack it will keep the chill off.

I should be there Saturday to lend a hand or 2.

Now have 8 outlets for air around the garage. That was a total pain. Still not done with the system but it works really well.

Should make it easy to plug in air tools now. I have 3 50 ft hoses on hand. Not sure what all we are going to do but might need a couple more brought down.

I can get a hose...

I will bring some air tools down. What kind of air line? size and length? I need to get a longer one for my house anyways.

Have we made a decision on food?

Just whatever you need for your place will work here. I have the 3/8ths i think. I have 3 50 ft sections. Which will work for 3 project vehicles.

pictures of frame

pics of frame fo 78fj40. Anyone know where I can get the metal engine brackets the hold the engine to the frame? Not sure what they are called.

Sent you a pm saying i have them, just got to figure if it would be easier to bolt them back in or weld them.

Jerry just brought up a good idea.

Start a tools needed list for this thing.

I have alot of them but only one set of them for the most part. Got plenty of metric wrenches / sockets.

Also who all plans to stay down this way that Saturday night.

I know of one for sure.

I'll sleep in my truck, unless I commute back and forth. That's still up in the air. I'm going to bring the 80, in which I need to put in 2 of the 3 extended brake lines, and assess the rear parking brakes.

I may even tackle my fully adjustable middle row seat modification. I'm sure you've got a drill press, right Darin?

Nothing big for me, just need the time to do it. And, I want to help out with the driveline install, since I'll have to do the same sometime in the future.

I can bring my power bleeder to assist with the brakes if needed.

Still need a 300 ft lbs torque wrench. :)

Good thing was brought up today.

What time are we wanting to start / meet up here for this ?

It is easy for me but just trying to get an idea here.

that brings up the next good question.... can you pm' me where "here is" I need to go to?

done...

Anyone coming this way send me a PM and i will give you the addy / instructions.

Darin thanks for letting me drop off engine today!

I drove to Darins place today and once you get out of Fayetteville its pretty easy to get to. Look for the big fish mailbox and hang a left!;)

As far as food do we have a number of people comming?

I will bring my gas grill. I was thinking hot dogs and burgers for lunch? Maybe some potato sald and some macroni salad?

Whos staying the night? Any ideas on a dinner?
