Based on my old wiring, you're supposed to use Green wire with a white strip for EVERYTHING Then when you look up the color codes for the wiring, if it's Green/white, hey, it's wire! :bang:
 
"Ok, I have a tan wire out here..."

"Tan and white?"

"No, tan..."

"Tan and black?"

"No tan..."

Lots of fun still to be had!!!!
 
Workin the cooling. It never really overheated, but in some conditions, ran warmer than ideal. Swapped the small fan for a larger BB fan. Then made a shroud from a F motor shroud. Had to move the radiator to the passenger, forward and down.:hillbilly:

The shroud took some butchering, including making a new lower part. Moves much more air through the radiator, should work well.:cool:

Made a mount to hold the new power steering cooler.

AzTony made a new support rod for the driver side, looks/works great. Big thanks for the help this week!:cool:

The brake reservoirs had hunks of black jello in the bottom, Tony removed, cleaned them and flushed clean fluid through the system.

The first time we fired the motor, found a big vacuum leak under the adaptor. Had it machined flat on the bottom, solved that problem.

It runs, strong, but still working a few issues. The :hillbilly: accessory gauge that we are using to monitor fuel pressure while driving.

Some new stuff under the dash, still needs a bit of tidy applied? Missing the plug caps for the rear heater line connections, so using a bypass hose on the motor to run it.

An '80 series recovery tank, only had to drill two holes, bolted right on, who would have thunk?:hillbilly:
