Jamie is Lexycrzy's brother, who lives in Colombia. He has attended the last two Cruise Moab events and decided that he likes wheeling in the desert, so got a rig to keep here!

It needs a bit of prep work, so commissioned Inkpot and I to make it trail worthy. Didn't know what to call it, the name on the keychain is Raul, so that is the name it will be known as!:hillbilly:

We planned on larger tires, but after that warning, may have to reconsider? At least it has custom accommodation for extra passengers!:hillbilly: The exhaust hangs a bit low?

This looks like a Con-Ferr swing carrier? Would be a cool addition for an old school type build? It is a nice piece, even the can anti rattle pads are in great condition.

Has one of them zoomie motors. Yes, that is a piece of the bearing sticking out, it's locked up solid.

One of them heavy duty off-road type bumpers with the well protected wires! Also has some gas shocks, but with bushing issues, likely best to replace them?:hillbilly:

That frame is a beach, or has a beach, or...

The bump stops have about made their last bump?

This came off of a FJ60, got it apart, cleaned up, looks really good, maybe we can use it?

Raul had his first date with the pressure washer, much better, now can see where the bolts are!

It must be a conspiracy, all '40's that arrive here, have to have the dipstick tube snapped off?

... Natural ballast makes it ride nicer?

In it's current form, about the only thing it does "nice" is accelerate",,, ride, steer, nope, and ballast isn't going to help it! :hillbilly:

Look at the positive.... NO MUD!! :meh:

I'm thinking, at one time it was mud and we turned to back into mud to disperse it all over the parking lot. :hillbilly:

As ChaseTruck hinted to, there is a bit of an issue, I wanted to alert the owner to Raul's grievous ailment before posting about it. It can be a bit shocking to hear this type of thing over the net, without personal condolences, etc.:hillbilly:

Anyway, went to back him out and no clutch! Pedal feels normal, but the clutch is locked solid, likely the pilot bearing took a dump.:frown: So, the drive train needs to come out, good opportunity to seal the leaks and fix some of the swap issues?

Micheal mentioned that Raul maybe jealous,,, of being backed out so the blazer could be worked on? Maybe the motor is protesting being in a "silly" looking body, when Micheal's motor is in a "proper" body? There is a perfectly good 2F setting here that would solve those identity crisis problems?:hillbilly:
