IVOAC Regional Meeting

The International Vehicle Owner's Association of Canada (IVOAC) is holding a Vancouver Regional meeting - Tuesday Sept 25 at 8:00 PM - at the Boston Pizza in Burnaby on Lougheed Hwy between Willingdon and Boundary Rd. If you are an owner of a imported Cruiser or are thinking of becoming an owner, this will be a do not miss meeting. It will also be a great opportunity to see some real cool vehicles up close. Sorry for the late notice.

PS: Yes, I know that the 4WDABC is meeting the same night. Actually, I am going to it as I already made a commitment. However, if you can't make the 4WDABC meeting, maybe you can make the IVOAC one.

This should be interesting, as the IVOAC (which I think is IMPORTED Vehicle Owner's association, not International) is meeting with ICBC tomorrow in the daytime. IVOAC cancelled a protest of ICBC at ICBC's request in return for this meeting (ICBC's idea).
I'm going, I wanna know what happens at that meeting!

Looks like I'm going to buy a Prado. And yes, the head has been replaced.
Just wondering if this should be a sticky (I'm going sticky crazy )
I'd be interested on what's going on and possibly upcoming meetings.

I will post upcoming Vancouver area meetings and a link to the appropriate thread over at ivoac.ca - sometimes meeting plans change at the last minute.
Other announcements which are pan Canadian in nature will probably be posted in the Diesel and 24V section by Crushers or myself if that is okay with Brown bear. The RHD section in the International doesn't seem to get very much traffic.

I've even been thinking of a 13-BT in the "Duck", Rob tells me that a 12-HT is the way to go for the 40, especially if I want run 38's.

I'm still sucking back $1plus/litre every chance I get. Altho that cummins powered 45 at Cruiser days still has me running to the bathroom with some tissues and hand lotion every once in awhile

Thanks for that image.....diesels are not that bad, and if you really want you can set them up to beat mustangs in a 1/4 mile. One of the fastest trucks was done by Banks and it's a diesel. Granted it had 2 turbos, propane and nitro injection, and some other crap.
