Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

Yeah what Hank said.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

So I guess the next logical thing is Happy New Year. Party till the lights come on but be smart.

On a more fun note the FJ62 is now locked in the front, cut and turned and the well bashed rear overhang is well, trimmed.

Still hoping for a winter ride in January. There is a big group going to McCaslin on the 16th so I'd prefer to avoid that. I'm thinking 24th if I can clear it with the warden.

Our clubs had the 24th scheduled since November but that isn't usually to many people.

Got a plan at all? Day trip? Meeting time?

breakfast at 8:00 at the usual place all are welcome but if the group gets to big we split into more than one and meet at the end of the day or cross paths for lunch.

yeah what Woody said.

I was just informed that Extreme has a group coming up also. I'll be in the SMALL group. I don't want deja'vu of last year.

No cruiser back yet. It is supposed to be getting the new work painted, rustproofed or otherwise protected. If I don't get a day or two to drive it and check things out (no service since last thrashing) I won't be attending the winter ride. Sucks. Might do some local thrashing. Might work on the basement.

the jeep and trailer and hauler are available :flipoff2:

40 is down for a while, 80 is going....headed up Fri nite to cabin it... (no, not at McCaslin....)

I'm trying to get Tom Jones to ride bitch and maybe drive a little hank could still use the heep since he had to drive it all the way home 2 years ago while i hauled his 62. not that it is superior just reliable. after all they all end up chevy powered.

true?

I'll be driving the 62 home tonight. The 62 is Uber reliable. That was the only time it ever failed to get me home. I'll pass on the heep offer thanks. I don't think my head could take that many blows from a day on the trail. I assume you will have the FJC? If it drives ok tonight there is a good chance I'll go. With the amount of new work underneath it and lack of road time since it may be trial by fire.

I could always road-trip back up with the goose on Monday to fetch it....gotta drop off Goeb's FJ40 someday anyways....

I'm not worried about breaking it at all. Jim had issues with death wobble after the cut and turn. It drove up there at 70mph. It has never had DW. If I wanted that crap again I'd go back to heeps. IF it's there, I won't be going Sat, if not then game on.
