I put a CCOT knockoff Tuffy in my 60 and am so happy I did it.
Arm rest. Security. Stereo.

Bang.

As for the rear plate. They are cheap to buy and cheap looking.

Go find some 1/2 doors. Do it Right. That's a fine 40

A little Saturday fun. Replaced the circa 1977 brake lines with some new oem @beno goodness.

One of the cool little things that always makes me happy about our Cruisers is the little touches Toyota did like this shield or cover that covers the junction of the front brake lines.

And some dumbass completely forgot to order new hose clamps. So, on to the rear drums. The adjusters won't loosen on one side so I may just loosen the wheel cylinders so that the drum itself will come off. The side that did come off can use the shoes being replaced so I guess I'll just plan on redoing both sides and maybe the front pads as well. Now I know what @wngrog feels. Just throwing money at this thing.

And this is why you make sure you have the plugs in the adjustment slots on the backing olate. Dirt daubers had filled the brake drum with nesta. Just a part of what I cleaned out.

I'll have to get two wheel cylinders for the passenger side. Both were rusty internally and I destroyed one trying to get the adjuster end apart. Screwed up my idea of rebuilding them.
