Is There Any Kind Of "Frame Kit" To Fix Rust-Thru?

Hi all, trying to save an 88 4X4 reg cab truck that has the typical pre-89 rusty-ass bed and frame (behind the cab). It could really use reinforcement in two/three spots on the main rails, the worst being one foot or so behind the drivers seat. We're talking three 12-15 inch sections of the main frame, all supporting the bed.

Can this be taken care of easily, or should I junk the truck?

Yeah, mine's really bad, and not worth a frame overhaul, IMAO. I bought the truck for parts, so I guess I'll stick to that plan.

No, no kit, unless you call a box with a hobart handler a kit. Get a welder, a grinder, a chopsaw, and a bunch of steel. It's a bitch.

Exactly, it all depends on both your skill set and your tool set, this one has a rear mount for a XD 9000 so I plated the inside of the frame rails aft of the crossmember:
