Hello everyone,
I own a 2007 model year Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series, assembled in Venezuela (CKD), and I would like to find out if, based on the VIN, it could be among the last 80 Series units produced worldwide.

VIN: 8XA11UJ8079025127

I understand that 80 Series production ended in Japan around 1997, but that assembly continued in Venezuela for several more years. I’m hoping someone here may have access to:
  • Production records
  • Toyota/EPC databases
  • Historical information from Toyota Venezuela
  • Or experience with late-production 80 Series VINs
Any information, references, or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance and happy to be part of the community.

Best regards,

you should take some in-depth photos of the vehicle. I wanna see how it differs from a US spec FZJ80. Is that rig have a carburetor or dose it have a MAP sensor basic EFI? Like they do in Oz

Or a coil pack with long tube EFI is what I would guess 😉

It is a Land Cruiser 80 Series, better known as the Autana in Venezuela, model year 2007, equipped with the 4.5L 1FZ-FE engine with full fuel injection, manual transmission, coil spring suspension on all four wheels, front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.
Here are a few pictures of the truck.

A quick dash and door swap suggests otherwise. Abracadabra it’s now a 96!
You have a much higher threshold for risk then most others. 🤷‍♂️ a fake sticker would be much easier

Beautiful truck! Are those common down there? Are they generally in that condition? Most of the 80s in the states look a lot rougher than that.

I think the OP has left the chat🙄

My guess his truck is the exception, not the norm.

Very nice
1FZ-FE
Looks like it’s OBD1

Same reason it’s a OBD 1
My guess is it’s a semi float rear axle like North American 91-92

Different markets got different specifications.

Middle eastern spec still had a carburetor all the up to 2000 😳
