What should I look for if I am going to drop this kind of cash on a 55?
Should every single lever and knob work, engine purr like a sewing machine, no leaks new brakes, clean knuckles, no rust, clean wiring?
Or should some things be able to slide for this kind of money? Thanks guys, may be joining the ranks soon.

You pose a very interesting question that warrants more discussion IMO.

What should one EXPECT of various price ranges for a Pig? What is "acceptable " at $3000? Unacceptable at $6000??

That's a nice rig, I love the all-over-tan ;) and if I had the coin I'd be very tempted.

I think I'm going to try to sell my 4runner and start saving for a Pig or a Troopy. I've tried to deny it for too long, I WANT a classic Cruiser.

DO IT! My first toyota was an 85 4runner. Great truck and it started my addiction.
