Hi All,

Is Custom Cruisers FJ40 in Gilroy, CA. a reputable shop for my FJ62. They are the closest LC specialty shop to me according to the state mechanic sticky thread. The thread is old, but it says they are great mechanics. Just want to confirm if that’s still accurate. Will I be in good hands with them or should I look elsewhere? Thank you 🙏

I’m not sure how to delete or edit my post.

not sure if it only is available for members with stars, but when the OP clicks on his own post, at the bottom left will be an edit button and a delete button, click on either.

New users start with some restrictions on their accounts (to help limit what can be done by spammers and scammers). Ability to edit will come with time and increasing post count.

You may get more feedback if you post in the 40-series forum. I think Ron (or Rod?) at Custom Cruisers is much more of a 40 guy, though he does work on 60s.

A friend of mine had extensive work done there recently on his '78 FJ40 and was happy with it. What I do remember was that, like all cruiser specialists, they were swamped with work.
