I understand the Foam Cell Pros still new but any idea on longevity before rebuild? Relative to Radflo, Icon etc... Also, who can rebuild since from Australia?

The are a designed and marketed as a fully rebuildable shock.I would suspect the design of IM FCPs allow for a MUCH longer interval. I believe they are designed as non-serviceable, so may not be a fair comparison with those that are.

Given that they aren't under high pressure, I also expect them to go a long, long time without servicing.
Lol. So may as well just go Icon, Fox, Radflo etc. from the start.
This is exactly what it was like for me. Yes I had driven vehicles with icons and other brands but until you actually own a set and drive that vehicle for a week or so and really get a feel for the difference, that's when it sets in... I know that the FCPs are and were a huge step up for me from Bilstiens, but it's like that same level of jump again and more to the Icons. It's hard to explain. It's like CB radio to VHF/UHF... Its better in every aspect except cost.I may upgrade mine but mostly out of curiosity to what something better is like...I really have no reason to upgrade otherwise. My FCP's are great.
I suspect it's one of those "ignorance is bliss" situations...

I only did cause I was given an offer I couldn't refuse. FJC was traded in and immediately sent to become a certified pre-owned... aka gotta go back to 110% stock, even the air filter has to be stock, tires have to be stock, not just stock size. So all the icon stuff was taken out, and it had only been put in like 5k mi before the trade in. My father in law was one of the techs who worked on the truck so he grabbed the stuff for me. So Icon 2.5rr all around for free99 I would have been stupid to say no. I will keep my FCPs for when I do the rebuilds.I actually paid less for my first VHF/UHF handheld than I did my CB. My second handheld was a little more...and I haven't got a mobile yet, lol. My CB is also no longer setup - after using VHF/UHF, I hate CB. Sooooooo, that's probably a good analogy.
Sigh. I'll probably end up upgrading at some point.![]()
Holy crap that is a ridiculous deal.I only did cause I was given an offer I couldn't refuse.
