Hi everyone,

I'm super happy to be the new owner of my '97 LC! I've had a 100 for five years, and I'm really comfortable with the 100 platform. I do all my own maintenance, so I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty with this 80.

I got it from an ih8mud member here – great guy who put a ton of hard work and time into bringing it back to its prime. I'm gonna do the same and plan on keeping it for a while.

I haven't driven it much since the 100 is my daily, but I have done some cosmetic mods. I know the old saying "maintenance over mods," but I couldn't resist.

So far, I've done a running board delete, quad lights, brush guard delete, and new wheels. I also cleaned some of the old tint off the windows.

33s look so small on the 80 compared to the 100.

Welcome to the stone age before V8’s, IFS, and 0-60 times quicker than 20 sec.

I did notice that when I drove it for the 1st time. The 100 feels and drives like a modern vehicle.

Welcome, be sure to grab a free copy of the FSM and EWD from the Resources section. Something tells me you might use them. ;)

Also, liek the quad lights.
I got both from the PO, and I am mentally preparing to pull the engine and tackle the HG. Single car garage is the only issue at this time :-)

Which is necessary but boring.
