New

Hey all I just got my first FJ last weekend! A red 1970 FJ40. I live in Mesquite, NV and am looking to join a club and this looks like the one that will work out the best for me, if you all will have me.;p I am new to the area and dont know much about where to wheel here, just moved down from Salem, OR area where I have lived my whole life. Already see wheeling out in the desert is a ton different than the forests and mud bogs I grew up on. Anyways looking to meeting up with you all sometime and getting out in the vast open that is southern NV.

Howdy 70. You might want to hit up hammerhead on this board. he is not a member of SNLC but does live in St george. There are some new trails opening up in areas near you so keep on the board and we will try to keep you updated on what is going on :)

1970 Red FJ40; Soft top/full hard doors or bikini/half hard doors, Chevy 350, 1974 4 speed, heavier shackles, detroit in rear, no show winner but loud and fun.

New to Las Vegas

My name is Clayton Rasmussen

It look like we will be moving to Las Vagas at the first of the month (that is if we can find a place to live)

I hope to meet some of you soon :)

Our first Cruiser was and still is a 1982 FJ40 bought in 1984 (that we still have)
My second Cruiser was (what is left of it, frame, and title) and still is an 78 fj40
My latest Cruiser is only a frame and tub 70 fj40 (that I hope to build into a buggy one day)

Thanks for the warm welcome at Chili's tonight. I hope to be able to attend a run soon as well. My trucks mostly stock so it's going to limit some of my off road capability, but that's only temporary. I'm hoping a lift and tires are in the near future for me.

Glad you were able to make it. Some of the trails we run will not be a problem for your rig. A 100 series in stock form is plenty capable for some of our outings.
