What's up John?
I know, I know......it's been a helluva long road trying to finish this pig. It used to be a love/hate relationship.....now it's just hate.
I just got the hood/grill/panels back from Miguel's Psycle Paint......looks awesome.
The chassis is powdercoated.
I'm just VERY SLOWLY putting it all back together and then I have to wire it. This weekend I plan to chuck up some tie rod adjustment sleeves in the lathe at work and then mill my Sky steering arms so I can actually utilize all the thread on the Dedenbear studs. Once that's all done and I reassemble, the only thing left is the wiring. Eben's gonna help with that and he figures 3 weekends at the most. I just ordered up all the wiring/electrical stuff I think I'll need tonight.
I'm leaving for Hawaii in Mid October, so hopefully I can get it all together and take it out for a test run in early November, but we'll see.
I don't know if you've seen these pics.....they're several months old now and I took them before I tore down for finish welding and paint/powdercoat.
Color:
The above pic doesn't do the color justice. It's a red metallic powdercoat. In the sunlight, you can really make out the candy and metal flake. I haven't taken any new pics of the hood/grill with the new paint.....I just got them back yesterday.

***EDIT*** Ps....hope it actually fits on my trailer (now that you mention it). It's only an inch or so wider than my old Toyota was, but it was a press fit. With my luck, I'll end up having to widen the freakin' trailer to make it work......that'd be a fitting conclusion to this complete cluster**ck of a build.
