Hi to All.
I just got a call from Inti Venezuela telling me that there is NO aluminum in Venezuela!!!!!
The company that supplies the aluminum THINKS that they will have aluminum by Nov. 2012.
Inti actually has aluminum in stock and since we are buying several racks, they are giving us the benefit to let them know how many racks we need before they compromise the aluminum they have available.
Therefore, we will make a special offer: if you are interested in the rack we will accept the payment in 3 equal parts.
Remember that Venezuela is an special market and prices go up extremely fast (Venezuelan government also affects the prices)
So let me know who is in, we’ve got time to let know Inti by Tuesday 06/12/12. So hurry up if you want your rack soon and at the actual price. (knowing the Venezuelan market, by nov 2012 the materials will be more expensive and therefore the racks.)

Someone in IH8MUD told me that there is a rumor that in the forum about "Inti going out of business"

THAT IS TOTALLY WRONG!!!!!!! The only thing is that there is no aluminum in Venezuela. Inti not only makes racks, they also make bumpers, roll cages, sliders, etc (that doesn't need aluminum).

So once again Inti is NOT going out of business! It is only for 5 months that there will not be any aluminum from the supplier.

My cousin went this morning to Inti and they have aluminum only to manufacture 6 (six) racks.
It seems that the aluminum problem could extend up to Jan 2013 (Hope not!!!!), so only 6 racks available. THE RACKS PREVIOUSLY ORDERED AND PAID, DON’ T COUNT IN THIS 6 RACKS.
PLEASE !!!!! do not deposit without letting me know.
They need our information by tomorrow Tuesday 06/05/12.

INTI arrived

Juan, Just wanted to say THANK YOU for doing this.

When the DHL van backed up in my driveway and after following the tracking from Caracas, to Panama then to Miami, Cleveland and then to New Orleans, I felt like how I remembered Christmas as a kid.

The crating and packing is outstanding.

My wife said "it's just a roof rack". I just smiled cause it is way more than that to me.

I originally thought it was way more than I wanted to spend, but after all the emails and learning your process, it was money VERY WELL spent.

Thanks for the PM on the price of the rack

Is there a difference in price for an aluminum version?
What is the weight difference?

There is only one version "90% of the rack aluminum".

The only metal parts are sidebars and brackets.

Lot of emails and calls but just 1 payment. I need to secure the racks with Inti, but with no money I can't make it happen.

Even my deadline is tomorrow, will speak with Inti to try to move it until Friday.
