Internal lift pump on my 1HD-FT took a dump

I say you buy it, put 1million miles on it and in 20 years let us know how it worked out.

But it seems like an answer to a question nobody has asked.
Its not a question that hasn't been asked because I asked the question .. It the disbelief that one can make a better product that polishes the fuel / removing water / removing air that people don't believe is their because they haven't seen it with their own two eyes .. I have seen the foam, the air in the fuel and it doesn't "Like Magic" disappear like dirt doesn't disappear and like water disappear .. The FASS fuel filter system is just the best product on the market with 4X more water removal, 10X more air removal and 2 micron particulate removal .. SHOW ME A BETTER PRODUCT .. If we want to Measure D^@Ks, Mine is bigger ! .. The real question is is better better ? .. SHOW ME ! .. I've showed you mine, you show me yours ..
 
So you didn't see the other videos which showed froth forming in a tank and the simulation of tank on a big rig at .5 g's and the froth in that tank .. Hmm ..
Customer testimonials without complete names or expertise, is what snake oil salesman wave around. And to top it off, one testimonial (Vinny H) is from a FASS dealer who sells their products at his performance diesel business . The others waffle on like all magical fuel device testimonials, "they feel instant power," or "it runs crisper" lol. But no evidence or dyno runs. Just crap you could never challenge legally.
You are not doing yourself any favours pushing this junk.

ps I have seen the videos of frothy diesel.

How about asking the FASS team to join MUD and we can ask questions directly.

Yet you continue to doubt the cleanest fuel from a system that outperforms all others .. Interesting .. I think you have a great idea about asking FASS to join .. I contact them as I have now many times .. They are very good at responding .. Unlike a number of vendors I have come to communicate with ..

Your testimonials sunk your argument.
You opinion really doesn't matter as you have brought nothing to the table and have put forward NO EVIDENCE to prove your points which I typical of people who know only what they know and are unwilling to learn something new .. I have asked both FASS and their top distributor to answer questions ..

You would tell everyone that a Amsiol bypass oil filters is worthless because you know nothing about them .. It that you don't know what you don't know ..
 
Seeing as your an authority on diesel injection now, go ahead and order this stuff up and install it. Quite obviously no one here is buying what your saying, and your doing a poor job at selling this stuff. So rather than continue this pointless argument, do whatever you want to your own truck.

It is your assertion that I am an expert .. I have never claimed to be nor do I now claim to be and expert .. I do however believe in research which many people here seem to be adverse to .. I am merely responding to others who assert no evidence that cleaner fuel makes a better running engine .. Thanks for dissing me anyway ..

Normally someone who puts forward an idea brings the proof. I cant find anything to support the junk you are pushing. I'm not replying to a crank anymore

It wouldn't matter if I brought forth proof .. You only know what you know and will never know what you don't .. Your unwillingness to learn will always get in your way .. A 2 micron particulate fuel filter coupled with a 84 PPM water filter with a air removal system is what I am talking about .. YOU SIR HAVE NOTHING TO DISPROVE THIS NOR HAVE YOU SHOWN A SYSTEM THAT CAN BEST THIS .. You are the Poser who says I am a crank .. I choose the cleanest fuel filtration system because I know my diesel engine will last longer .. You call what I have put down as junk .. Why ? Is it because you won't buy and American product ? .. Is that what your beef is really about ? .. Show me a fuel filtration system that can Best the FASS system .. YOU CAN'T and you WON'T .. You've got NOTHING .. No data .. No Proof, CONJECTURES and FALSEHOODS ..

No one with a half a brain can argue that FASS filtration system are arguably the VERY BEST in the industry .. SAE says the limit of emulsified water should not exceed 200 ppm .. FASS provides 84 ppm water separation .. No other vendor does .. What they do sell are cellulose filtered systems but look at how they perform ..

Fass is a nice system but having no drain that filters media is gonna swell and does not let any fuel pass you better carry spare filters on hand. I noticed that he had to change the filter near the end of the first video.

interested in this technology but how can you get better fuel economy and power just by removing water and air more than the factory fuel filter can do????

I think the Fass system for a first gen Cummings could work on our trucks inline before the factory filter we just need a way to regulate it down to 4-6PSI.

I would use the FASS Filters as they are much better than the factory filters .. I agree with using a pressure regulator .. If you don't use a pressure regulator the Lift Pump will fail .. The pressure relief tube should be fed back into the Tank whereby the fuel is continuously being cleaned .. No matter where you get fueled up whether it is high quality or low quality fuel you will still be okay .. IMHO ..

It’s a really nice system I hear of people useing these for WMO/VMO fuels aswell. No water drain so just carry spare filters with you on long trips.

I like the holly fuel pressure regulator you posted.

Looks like there is a way to adjust fuel pressure on the pump itself. But I have not figured if there’s a way to get it down to 4-6psi.



Maybe this one can do it.
