Intermittent Short Duration Battery Light On

I had an issue a month or so ago where the little nylon pad that shuts the brake light off when your foot is off the pedal escaped and started punishing my battery severly.

So that hammered a few coffin nails into the battery and it "tested" bad at autozonbe and Oreilleys, a GRP 31 Odyssey AGM that still had about 10 months on the warranty.

Up until that issue I also had an intermittent battery light that would come on for maybe 2-3 seconds and go off every once in a while. Usually noticed this while on the interstate where I might notice the dash more than around town I guess.

So I had some good documentation that the battery was bad and Odyssey sent me a new Battery :)

So that was last week and today had the alternator tested at Auto Zone and the alternator tested perfect so I thought I had closed the loop on this.

Not a half a mile away and the battery light came on for s few seconds.

Where to look for this problem? The battery is good and I don't believe the alternator is an issue.
 
Why are you running an AGM battery on a non AGM charging system (I think)?
Did they say if the battery had a dead cell? How did they test the alternator? One of those electronic gizmos?
You said it tested perfect, did they give you a print out? Pardon the annoying questions but trying to give you an honest answer.
If you could find a shop that has a carbon pile tester even a handheld unit, it will tell you how much real output under load your alternator is putting out there is a possibility also that your battery could've spiked your alternator. Maybe the brushes are on its last leg, my alternator did that before it completely went out light would turn on and off and be fine until it finally quit and all it needed was a set of brushes.

I have the AGM voltage mod gizmo that cranks up the voltage a little.

Last AGM battery lasted 11 years.

They did say the battery had a bad cell. The handheld gadget at Autozone I don't know much about, it didn't look cheap. They parroted off a bunch of parameters that it tested for as well as the battery test before the alternator. I did not collect the printout.
 
A 2–3 second charge lamp flicker is often an intermittent IG/L-circuit or alternator-brush/connection issue, and a parts-store bench test can easily miss it. With the engine running, watch voltage at the alternator B+ and battery while gently moving the alternator plug, charge wire, and engine/body grounds; compare cold and fully warm readings. Inspect belt tension and the small alternator connector for loose pins or corrosion, and check for voltage drop between alternator case, battery negative, and the block under load. I would not rule the alternator out until it has been tested hot and under load.
