I found the cad drawing of the interior panels the other week and was wondering about getting some cut out at Moab 4x4 Outpost...they have a plasma table cutter and would be able to plug in the cad file and cut them out.

When I do this it makes no sense to use these templates only once. Would anyone else be interested in using them? Maybe we could start a thread and pass them on to one another?

Thoughts?

I will be making mine out of some masonite or thin plywood then covering it with vinyl or something else. I will be using the metal as a template.

Let me know!

maybe make metal ones like the safari ones for the FJ40 on SOR's site. You'd never have to make them again! I woulda bought those if you made them!

I would attach them, if I knew how. I thought I tried today but it gave me a bad file extension name error. PM your email and I will send it over.

If you could put it on an independent site and posted the link it would be great and very easy to share

I am a computer moron. Can you save it as another type of file rather than an RAR file? I got the expander to open the file names but I don't know what software will open those file types. thanks!

Thanks! I got the folder open but couldn't open the file types. A friend opened them and sent them my way.

My VW friend showed me this website: CNC Machine Shop | Custom Waterjet, Plasma, Laser Cutting | eMachineShop.com

Basically you upload your CAD drawings, they cut to spec then ship it out. Would be an easy way to get some indestructible door panels made!!!

Myabe I'm drunk, I'm not, but I can't get the program that you download to work with a cad file. Anyway can you just upload to their site.

Looks like if you log in there is a place to upload drawings
