That's a posermobile. You can tell because there's no snorkel. Otherwise, It seems just about perfect. Think about this - that guy probably has less money in that rig than most of us do in a beat 80. Sigh.

Ok.... thanks for ruining my mood.....ugghhh! Lol

Don't get caught up in the MUD frenzy. Build what you need for the areas that you go. It is not a competition to see who can have the most extreme rock crawler or who can have the best gadgets for overlanding. Build what works for you. Most importantly, use it!

As an avid backpacker, I prefer the less is more mentality and try to find things that have more than one purpose.

Hey @GW Nugget you're the one who's threads started my lift research. Thanks.
Thanks for the compliment.

As for @Lcshack once he gets it on the road & more seat time in his awesome rig that if he just adds 1" spring spacers on top of stock coils he then will have enough spring free height to run a 2" longer shock equivalent to the OME L which will give 4" more down travel at the tire.

There are several vendors on Mud with good lift packages.

I did Slee's 4 inch heavy lift and have been extremely happy with it. I had the 3.5 inch Old Man Emu before I converted to Slee's progressive rate rear springs and the Old Man Emu lift got mushy when I added all of the armor to my rig and then added a toolbox with heavy tools.

Go to the sites that offer complete lift packages and get a good understanding of what each of the components in the lift package will do for your rig and why they are important.

Anything over 2.5 inches of lift and you are getting into some serious money because you really need to re-establish proper alignment of your rig over the wheels hence all of the components in Slee's 4 inch lift.

It does make a difference. I'd either do a 2.5 inch lift and keep it simple (no regearing needed) or go full-bore and do someone's 4 inch lift kit and re-gear your truck to 4.88 or 5.29.

The choices you make should be predicated on how you plan to use your rig and how capable you need it to be. I drove mine stock from 1997 through 2010 and wheeled it regularly. I then joined Lone Star Landcruisers and learned how to build my rig from guys in the club. I took my build step by step until the rig satisfied my needs. I keep adding little things to it now but mostly because I like to work on my truck!
