i was not talking about having it in 4wheel drive just having the hubs locked to spin the r&p under no load. i have accidently driven with the hubs locked a few times. As long as im in 2wheel drive i dint see how it could be bad?

secondly...im doing the front end tomorrow night and never had the sucker out before. So, do you just un bolt it and pull it out? because the lack of c-clips????

 al, i hope you got the day off tomorrow :D :D

the front takes alot longer cause you have to tear the front end apart...
pull the axles...
might as well do grease seals and a bearing pak at the same time ;)

hows the rear sound?
everthing come out OK?
nice job brother

got you message man... i was out for a drive on A1A, and maybe a lil surf.

I'm gonna rip the front end apart tomorrow...i had the birfs and hubs apart a bunch of times...just never took the third off....i was just hoping i dint have to take the birfs out....but i knew in my head that it was the only logical way to have it set up. ahhh well...

yeahhhhhhhhh buddy,
you gotta bust the whole axle down to slide your axle out far enough to pull the diff.

2nd one should be a piece of cake!! ;)
