I used the stock pitman arm. :)

Basically it's the same conversion the Toy Pickups do when they convert to crossover steering.

This has made it easy to find parts and when I did the minnie knuckle conversion on my front axle, the only piece of the highsteer setup I had to have custom made was the relay rod. Marlin Crawler had all the rest of the pieces as stock order.

I'd hate for you to start flexing your 40 and bind up that long run of column.

From my experience you don't need a center support on that shaft. Just need a slip joint in it somewhere. The only other bearing you need is to support the firewall end of the shaft in the steering column.
