HPS Performance makes a great hose clamp. The slot has deep engagement for a slotted screwdriver, deep engagement also for a socket. The inside band is slightly rounded to avoid any hose damage where there is contact. The size is also engraved on the clamp (in millimeters).

I heard back from Jon Bond Performance. A week early in fact. Having no knowledge of the history of the supercharger, I was relieved to find out everything was ok.
I chose Cerakote over traditional powder coat for its high heat resistance.
I will call JBP next week to confirm some small details.

Great thread TNFZJ. Was just thinking about this. Mine is still in the box about to be installed. How's it coming along?
I finally gathered all the small parts and pieces. I’ve had the supercharger back from the rebuilder for a while now. I will be sure to post detailed photos here shortly.

The unit was shipped back loosely assembled. This is because it needs to be taken apart during installation. A little friction coating was applied to the rotors. I wasn’t expecting the bronze color but I really like it.
Everything that could be replaced was replaced.
My vacuum switch was in working order, but it was fairly rusty so we had that replaced as well.
The topcoat is cerakote satin aluminum. It might be a little shinier than I was hoping, but I’m sure it’ll be just fine.

Wow that looks fantastic, great attention to detail, good to know for the future. Good luck with install!

Saw on Facebook. Looks great!!!

Video of the bypass valve vacuum actuator that on the throttle body adapter.

Moving forward with the supercharger install.
Looking at the 90° elbows on the throttle body, I could tell they looked pressed in. That would allow for movement.
With the use of some heat, I was able to loosen and spin the elbow 180° facing the valve cover.
This would effectively eliminate 6 to 8 inches of hose as it now is routed in line.
I will also be deleting the EGR system which will eliminate to additional hoses that would interfere.
For those who retained their EGR system, the two elbows can be bent upward and clear the larger hose.
