Nah...
Those are water cans.
The Kariba water heater sends heat upward as water is piped through the heat exchanger and either used, or send back into the can to preheat the full 5 gallons. The whole point of creating the top shelf was to get the heater off the tailgate so exits above the truck.
I can hold my hand comfortably between the Kariba and the propane tank while it’s on full blast, and the top shelf surface stays cool to the touch as does the tank.
Plus...think about things they market as propane tank attachments:
This setup works extremely well.
Heat rises, and all that.

Final follow-up and magnet confirmation...
Turns out my bolt-on gun magnets are more than strong enough to hold through any jarring/washboard without any additional attachment.
If anything, I adjusted so the magnets were not OVERLY strong. I was able to fine tune the pull of these 75lb. rated magnets by adjusting angle and distance—even though the metal they pull is on the hinges behind the non-magnetic platforms.

Top smallest shelf magnet:
Lowest medium shelf magnet:
No fiddling with straps or latches.
Just securely up...or down.

I'm finally getting around to table-izing my swingout. Can you provide deets on the gauge of metal you used @Markuson ? Also, is that a 11lb propane bottle or a customized AL version?
