Inspecting the Rear Differential (1 Viewer)

Good evening.

I'd like second opinions on the condition of this rear dif. The FJ is supposed to have less than 50k on it which would mean the rear diff should still be in good shape. The backlash felt/looked like it would be within spec and there were no noticeable wear patterns on the ring teeth. What do you think?

You can't really "feel" the correct backlash. If its not making any funny noises you should be fine. It looks good and clean though. BTW its an FJ40 or 40 the FJ is another thing all together.
