Inner fender mud flap material?

Where is anybody finding rubber material to make new inner fender mud guards?

My local orchard supply hardware has both neoprene rubber as well as something called "diaphragm" material, which is rubber with embedded woven fibers. Mail order you can always find something at McMaster-Carr

That's MY template! I don't really care share it with everyone. BTW I used shower liner from the Home Despot. It is a gray material but it holds black spray paint just fine.

Just a quick note, I purchased the non OEM ones from SOR. They fit great and came with new clips, but after 18 months the rubber has multiple tears were they attach to the inner fender. If I get another 6 months from them I'll be amazed. I have yet to call SOR to see if they will consider covering them under warranty (I already think I know the answer).

Mine (from SOR) cracked and tore before I even installed them

Replaced with shower liner as suggested by Dynosoar.

IIRC Mark at cruisercrap made some replacement flaps for himself, dont think he planned to market them but I remember he said they turned out well.

Did anyone use the template provided? I put it on my memory stick and took it to a print shop, but I did not know how big to make it...the girl was going to print it on a regular size sheet of paper.
How do you know how big to make this? I don't have an original to compare to.

I did it, and it was fine. The original PDF prints out on six 8.5x11 sheets--well, five, actually, because one is blank--so I saved a new one formatted like that. My chopped up PDF is here, if you want it.

Since this thread has re-surfaced, I gotta wonder how necessary these rubber fender liners really are. How many people just leave off those inner liners? Any major downsides?
