Injector cleaner...honestly

Seafoam is just more snakeoil. The Techcrome or whatever Chevron blows it's horn about... a few ounces of additive dumped in a tankerload of generic gasoline out of a shared pipeline.

Injector cleaner in general.... lots of hype, little reality.

But... but...... but....... I have to agree 100%. I've never seen an in-tank cleaner do anything.... If they are plugged, buy new ones, or send them off to get cleaned.

I just bought a refurbished v6 injector from Schucks (Kragen etc...) for +/- $36, Car quest told me $130 per....

I think you can't improve over 20 - 23 MPG. I have heard mechanics say to use injector cleaner. I also don't think it really works. I've tried seafoam through intake before. I think that deserves merit due to the egr system depositing soot in the intake system. I got build up really bad in the Throttle Body of a '94 I owened and had issues. I cleaned the soot out with a rag around the butterfly and fixed my problem.

Hijack: Looks like send them here is a great deal! Autozone wants $139.00 each. I need to pull mine off....

+ they actually balance them so each injector is spraying the same amount of fuel, IMHO much better than just buying new. I've not heard any complaints from people that used this company

Tried some Seafoam.

Didn't do sh-t minus decrease my gas mileage ha ha.

Oh well, had to try. I dont think my injectors are bad at all considering the current mpg.
