And the Ineos underwear things for bike riding. It really is going to be following the peloton. Looks like its pre padded. The French have their fingerprints all over this.

They're actually pucker-proof pants. They prevent that pucker factor when you hit an off camber speed bump at the mall. Awesome concept!!

Why put diff lock buttons up there when there's a huge switch fascia in the middle of the dash.

People buy vehicles based on the button count.

I

I like the center buttons, compass, manual hi/lo lever, air vents, center control wheel thing (for the screen), but yea, the steering wheel looks like a smart car (ironic, they are actually building the smart cars as we speak) and the BMW knob is a little tacky. I like the simplicity of a lot of it though, and you have to remember: each recycled part=lower total price at the end without really sacrificing quality. I’m all for it. I would rather it have BMW bits and be affordable than it to be 100% original parts and be u obtainable. BMW is still a quality company
I don't like how the parking brake lever dominates that central armrest area. It could have been mounted more rearward and out of the way of the BMW-esque gear selector lever. And though I'm OK with that gear selector lever (it's basically what's in MrsDD's X5), I think I'd rather a more traditional gear selector lever for a slushbox.

I don’t understand why don’t they use a foot operated parking brake like most big SUVs and trucks. You can generate much more leverage with your foot.

All the off road stuff for the 4Runner is up on the headliner

So you can keep pushing buttons when the water is up to the steering wheel.

I'd prefer to have a dead pedal over there on the left than having a foot-operated parking brake. I'm happy with a lever-operated parking brake.

The thing I hate most about my Avalon is the foot operated parking brake.

Somehow they managed to include BOTH a foot operated parking brake and a dead pedal in the fifth generation 4runner.

Japanese wizardry.

Yeah, and then you get "shinned" each and every time you try to use the dead pedal IF you've got long legs. Parking brake pedals are old school and I am not a fan. Give me the hand brake instead.

Besides, everyone knows that dead pedal location is for the high beams. #VW
Even moar old school. :hillbilly:

In my old 1991 Dodge Ram Cummins D250, the floor-mounted button was to shift the Gear Vendors Under/Overdrive. Cuz fūck headlights. :hillbilly:

Hand handbrakes feel better than foot brakes….and besides….ebrake turns lolololol

Because this is going to be a ebrake sliding vehicle now. Got it.
Any vehicle is one red Bull logo away from becoming a drift missile lololol
