In general, people like free. Since you are in SW, I assume you know this already. While I don't proclaim to be an app guru, I have used quite a few and this is the first app that I have seen using this model (free for 30 days). The majority of apps have 2 versions- 1) the free, limited functionality, ad-based version and 2) the paid, no-ad full feature version.

As far as why I don't try it? I don't want to be coupled to a time-frame. Outside of installing it and using it for 2 minutes, I may not have a need for it (ie, go wheeling) within the trial period . When the event arises that I do want to use it, and its outside of 30 day period, that would be an annoyance and I would uninstall it. So, I never really did get to try it out to see how useful it is, but now I am being forced to to pay for it to try it out- that's a turn off for me. I don't have a problem upgrading to full versions that I like, but just don't couple me to a time. This is one reason why you don't see many 30-day trials on apps. Make sense?

I like your permissions, or lack thereof, that's a BIG plus. IMO, model the functionality after the 1st gen 4runners.

What if he coupled it to hours instead? Turn it on when needed, then turn it off. After 10 hours of accumulated usage the app asks for upgrading.

TY

PS: Looks nice.

Thanks, I like your idea. At the moment no limit, but we'll see after the end of next month, if the number of free user is still 11/1 paid, may need to encourage the freebies.

I think its nifty. I bought it.
It really needs an 80 Series LC.

Thanks for buying it, I really appreciate it. 19 sold to date, 220 using the trial version.

The 80 is coming, I spent all my time for 3 months learning and developing the app. I honestly took last week end weekend off, I would sit at my pc for 10-12 hours sat & sun, maybe shower, it was pretty bad.

I have the 80 images i need to base my icon from. Just need to start, takes about 8 hours to do the 2 graphics for a single vehicle. They about 98% accurate to scale, pixel by pixel, very slow.

I'll.buy.it...
hope yah put a 60 series in it sooner than later....
Very cool app.......

Thanks, the 60 is on the list. It is 3rd though, 80, taco, 60, 80's 4runner. It will be some time, hoping to release an update every 2-4 weeks.

There's interest in a Russian language option too, not that we need that. More ideas than time, 6 months out before language options.

I need a front view pic of a FJ 80, the images from google don't give a good perspective and my attempts so far look horrible. I need a pic like so, thanks

Thanks for the developing the App...and the 4Runner icon too!

My bad! Just saw that there was an update for this app, and it mentioned you were needing pics.

Only head-on pic that I have:

Thanks for giving us android users another option. I tried the app and it functions very well on my phone. I like the buttons, but the background is kinda cheasy. I have another app i use, but it has an annoying ad right next to the buttons, and i hate ads so i rarely use it.

Thanks for keeping it ad free. And +1 for removing the 30 day trial.

Thanks, though the trial version will make a few changes over time. Many would rather use a trial app full time than pay less than a cup of coffee for an app. The trial is to test and try, I don't want any unhappy purchases. So I had to make a few incentives, though the functionality of the app is never compromised, just the aesthetics.

I just dropped the $1.99 for the app....I figured why not since it supports a fellow mudder.

Now if you can please add an FJ40 to the vehicle choices...

Thanks, and added to the list. The Tacoma is finishing this week, the FJ 80 after that, then the 60 & 40. I'll likely be looking for pics to help in the graphic design, I doubt google will be able to provide much.
