Good morning everyone, this is my first time posting and STOAKED to be part of this forum. I just recently purchased a LHD HDJ80 in a 1hdt motor couple of months ago and been slowly working on it. I currently at a roadblock. my Water temp sender (1pin) recently went out and also the ECT temp sender (2pin). I tested the wires and the instrument cluster for the water temp and those are solid so it is the temp sender unit. I am having a hard time finding the correct part for both of these sender units and the pigtails that go with it ( my pigtails were trashed) I can find the water temp sender but when I purchased one and switched it I felt the unit is not going all the way in and didn't want to push my luck and ruin the threads. furthermore for some reason I cannot find the correct ECT sender unit. I recently purchased one on eBay but it was to small of threads when switching them out so I am out on that. called cruiser outfitters and they do not carry those two parts. Any help would be appreciated and reaching out to those who have any clue where I can find these two pieces and pigtails. Thanks in advance yall and hope to be seeing some of ya at cruisemoab this year!!!

Its impossible to find. I SCOURED for a week, used ai and every weird plug site and came up with nothing a few months ago.

Many before us have tried:

I also randomly found this MR2 video, looks like same connection and I saved it for future self to review his "work around".

I was able to heatshrink mine together, get new terminals and reuse the rubber plug, thank fully.

My solution if non of those worked was to find a new sensor, more common denso plug with the same temp/ohm range and hope it worked.

On the 1FZ its only for the AC cutoff, so nothing mission critical.

God speed, sir.
