The last quote I got from him was $1300 to my door. I think Ehsan might be shooting himself in the foot by going to a vendor, and in Canada no less. The last group guys are looking at under $1000 for there tops. I am sure glad I did not send him a deposit back in March. I would be super pissed to find out that he still hasn't placed an order yet. What would be stopping him from dragging it out another 6 months, only this time with peoples money. This whole deal sounds pretty shady to me. I was about to pull the trigger, but my inner gut tells me no.

Not to pig-pile on this but if you're starting a business you need to have your full business plan including shipping methods, logistics, prices, added taxes or fees, and a functional website before you say you're open for business. Otherwise people get frustrated and look elsewhere. I started a business from scratch and learned the above suggestions the hard way. You need to try to anticipate EVERY question someone could have and have a quick, solid answer so you look professional and together.

I didn't get ripped by him, maybe because I "almost ordered" a few times but shied away. Glad I did.

I'm thinking it was a case of good intentions gone bad (and not enough solid research before jumping into it).

Hello sorry everyone not trying to make excuses my brand new pc's motherboard fried..... not to impressed.... its out on warranty right now. Everything is backed up I'm just lacking reliable access to a PC. hoping to have access this weekend but its a mess right now.

I'll get on here and answer any/all questions and address things like customs and duties hopefully this weekend.

Heck - seems like I can find a friend, a hotel, or any of the above and a million other options when I'm traveling - and this includes foreign countries. My girlfriend is Canadian - and I'm always making Canuck jokes - but I think she's gonna laugh her arse off when I ask if there are places in Canada where folks don't have internet access. Wait - she might sock me - oh well .

I was once interested in some smaller bits - but am now 100% put off from this thread.

I am not putting Graham down in any way, but he is a 23 year old draftsman/CNC operator. In order to put together an order that makes any financial sense, it would need to be big and it would take between $20K and $30K in cash. Most guys don't have that kind of money to lay out. Ehsan isn't a typical manufacturer that will give you net 30 or net 60 credit terms so can sell the goods before you have to actually pay for them.
