Hey, I have a 2001 Tacoma and it's been 1 issue after the next. I bought it knowing I'd have a few things to fix but I didn't realize it would be this intense and I'm at the end of my wits. Please help.
The most recent issue is the driver window won't go up; I've tried all the usual suspects and just replaced the switch like 15 minutes ago and it still won't go up nor can I control any of the other windows from the driver seat and that just won't do in Houston summer with 2 small children and I can't use the ac because the window being stuck down. Please help.
Symptoms include:
Driver side window stuck down
Other windows were stuck down until I replaced the switch now they'll all go up and down individually from each door.
It might be the motor that's got the driver window stuck down but I don't think it is because the other windows also aren't working right and it's a brand new switch. I think it might be a relay causing the issue but all the diagrams and everything else don't have a specific fuse or relay that may cause this issue. I'm at an impass and need this solved.
