but I've been working on my 4runner for a few years now (although its probably going to my brother once he gets the funds)

...so now I have a 97 40th anniversary edition lc that I'm excited to build.
...we got a pretty good deal on it (or so we thought)...let's just say that it needed some work and attention (some of which came via sdtrux)...but it's getting there and this is part of building a reliable expo vehicle. I just had it regeared (4.88) by unitrax (great shop) in anaheim and the next additions will be a front cardan drive shaft (probably from either drivelines inc in irvine or one from slee) , next will be the head gasket and rebuild the head which will be done by superior automotive (great shop) in anaheim and cryo treated by cryoscience in fallbrook, then will come sliders and 3 jerry can holder modification to the single swingout rear bumper via brian @ streetacos (my fab guy in oceanside).
After all that I'll probably try to enjoy the lc for a bit and recoupe from all the lost (I mean invested) money. Oh yeah, I'll probably need some skid plates too...
well, hope to see you guys out on the trails...and if anyone has a place I can work on my lc from time to time I'd much appreciate it...I live in a condo with a communist hoa that won't let us so much as open the hood on our vehicles (although I did replace the phh while looking over my shoulder the whole time).
ttyl,
T
