IFS hubs on a solid axle, no spacer, stock rotors and calipers

I am doing something similar with my front axle but using Tacoma rotors for a slip off rotor configuration. Using V6 IFs calipers mounted to the outside of the knuckle ear with IFS hub bodies. Grind the ears that the studs press into so the Tacoma rotor slips over and then bolt the caliper in place. Works great, know several people running this setup.

I wonder if this could be done using the stock hubs and mounting the caliper on the intended side of the mounting ears?
I've no desire for more scrub radius, it's bad enough as it is.
