Ideas needed for storage of metal. (1 Viewer)

Greetings,

I was curious how you all store any metal in and around your shop that you keep for fabrication or just excess pieces that you keep for that "someday you might need them". I have a mixture of round stock, sheet metal, angle iron, flat iron, some scrap metal etc. Some pieces are large and others are smaller. I currently have some small pieces in a bucket and some longer stock hung on the wall on hooks. There has to be a better way...….

Looking for storage ideas and some pictures if you have them.

My short cut offs and pipe or whatever, greater than 18 inches go into a 5 gallon bucket. Shorter stuff I have a horizontal bin on a shelf. Sheets are on a shelf standing up like magazines (a pain to dig through like that) and really long stuff goes on a large lumber caddy I built....that I do not a photo of...but it is like this:
