Ideas for mounting a gun to the console?

First place someone looks when breaking into a vehicle is the console and glove box, happened to me a couple of months ago (vehicle at home in the driveway). They got nothing because I leave nothing in those locations of any value.

I never thought about that. Now I think I might put one of my badger traps in the center console and hide it under a bunch of napkins.

Two powerful magnets on the top and side hold that G20 in place. Takes some effort to wrestle it free. Also been using a ‘sticky’ holster between the console and PS side seat recently.
