Update: Need to work on getting the truck smogged and lifted this weekend BUT....

I have been SERIOUSLY considering using SecondSkin's DeadLiner roll-on/spray on bed liner to put OVER the Damplifier Pro I will eventually be getting. This is instead of the Rhino Lining. Any thoughts?

This is JUST for the interior. Exterior would still be Rhino.

Layer right?

Is this the right layer by layer process ?

Sheet Metal floor - Second Skin Damplifier - Roll-on/Spray On Liner (Over the damplifier) - Noise Barrier (Luxury Mat) - Carpet

If I wanted to go the whole process, yes after talking to SecondSkin. But I won't be putting carpet back in myself so it will be:

• Metal floor
• Removed tar layer (with dry ice)
• Second Skin Damplifier Pro
• Second Skin DeadLiner (roll on bed liner)

Again, I'm not 100% sold on it but I am very much so considering it.

So can the Second Skin Damplifier Pro be covered by a regular spray in? How thick is that stuff? I'm looking at doing the same thing. I figure if it's too loud in the cab i'm just going to put carbet back in the front and back seat area but leave the rear bare. Also I am getting the rear of my back seat covered. The little piece of trim that hold the top of the seat cover down is at the powder coaters right now.
