I thought of just lifting the garage a couple of inches. lol I still have the stock rims with small tires on it. It certainly wouldn't matter if I destroyed those. I'm waiting for my son to return from his trip so we can do the rears.

I'll be doing a center console soon. The bottom of mine is broken up pretty bad. I figured I could add my cb and a 120V outlet there while I was at it.

Did you get the FI worked out on the pig?

use turn buckles for sway bar disco's they worked great for me. But make sure the turn buckle is steel not alluminum.

I though of doing something along the lines of a turnbuckle! I've also looked at Euclid's fix and I think I came up with a solution since I'll need extended links. I need to run to the parts store and Home Despot before I fab this up. I'll post a pic of what I'm going to do and have you guys give me your input!

Finished the rears today and I'm honestly impressed with the lift! Using the stock rims and tires It raised the height to 20 inches floor to rocker bottom! For s***s and giggles I put the 33"s on. I gained another 4" inches! Who needs enzyte when you got Procomps! Now hopefully my birf parts will be here in the next couple of days so I can wheel it!

I hope you get it done, I would like to see another 62 out there!!

Still waiting for Birf parts! Now I'm getting frustrated! So in the meantime I put the rotors and hubs together. No issues beating out the old wheel studs and bearing races, installing was another issue. Seems that the outside wheel bearing race needs to definitely be pressed in along with the rear seal! I bashed up one of my new seals and tore the other! The outside race would only seat so far before it would start to cant to one side. Argggh!

The good thing today was that Napa had the outer wheel bearings in stock and my 4Runner calipers will be in Wednesday! I also found that taking a propane torch to the inside of the hub gets rid of old grease extremely fast and makes race removal easier.

Now only if I can get 2 new rear seals and my Birf parts by Friday!

Why are your parts being shipped back to Kurt!!??!!

Bad address on the package (1 digit off) and I get a different mail carrier every day. Nobody even tried to contact me even with my cell phone number on the package. They made one attempt and it was sent back to him. Kurt apologised and promised to overnite it to me when it gets back to him.

There are disadvantages of living in a small town but that little situation would be to my advantage. I would bet that if you sent me something and completely left off the street address I would still get it. No, I am not the mayor or sheriff. BUT, say I need something from my "local" Toyota dealer, I've got a 1 hour 10 minute round trip for that.

It lives....

Finished up a little bit ago. I'll post better pics tomorrow. I finished the birfs then did the 4Runner calipers. I still need to bleed it a bit better. Also found that I need TRE's and sway bar extensions. Not bad for a day of mad wrenching.

You been a busy man. Looks great Phil !!!
Lift, wheels and tires......looks completeely different!
Can't wait to wheel with it.

Thanks for the compliments guys! The pain was definitely worth the outcome! I'll take your advice on the bleeding Todd! I'll get back under it today. So as promised a couple more pics for you!

A little bit of a stinkbug stance but I like that.

It wouldn't be an LC without a little lean to it!

I know you did the tires kind of at the same time but did you get acurate measurements on how much lift you got?
Looks great!
