Friday was the last day that I worked for the Bridge/Rail Road.
After have been there for almost 8 years, I was able to turn off my cell ph. at night.
Back in November I had a ph call for a Job interview, and like my Boss John says, I shoveled my pile and got the Job.
all these events are rare but true, I did not apply for the Job they called me.
The guys I met for the interview came from Mississippi, since the main office is on Ridgeland,MS.
I said Mississippi? I know a few Rednecks from up there!
Have I mentioned that I am White Trash too! I said all these during my interview, that sure got their attention. ...and got them laughing too.
...Then I went on to my duties w/ the B & M Bridge and must to say something that I made a good impression on them that got me the Job.
The company that I am working is Horne LLP. Horne is an accounting firm doing project management for HUD and The Texas Housing Development.
I got hired as a supervisor, once trained, I'll become the Project Manager.
Next year is a new beginning!
...and I really hope to have the time to see you'al at the Round Up.
hopefully my 40 is done by then, since my 80 has seen better days.
