Thanks for the warm welcome. The rig looks cleaner in the picture than it actually is. The interior was children tested it appears, but I will get it all cleaned up and looking good. I am going to use it so I don't mind the few scratches and dings it already has. I will post some pics as I progress. I should actually be able to take this to some runs further away like the Surf & Turf next year.

NICE RIG........................

To bad your little ones were not a little bit older as I would of like to of seen you at Pismo this year. Anyhew, catch ya on the way down or up if we have time.

Might be driving the HDJ81 and pulling a camper.

Nice Cruiser! Mine is a CE Moonglow Pearl. I bought mine on the opposite side of town, not really a long drive, but driving it home in the Blizzard was just as good as a long trip in it. I told my wife it was like driving a bank vault, it was built so solid. If I could have ordered one new, it would be the exact same color and options as what I got. Love that Moonglow Pearl.

Congrats on the purchase, was that a Montana trip by chance?

I bought it from Ryan up in Montana, I think you were talking to him too about the green 97 he sold. He was great to deal with and would recommend him. This was a Seattle rig and I got the service records. I drove it down from Portland.

After the "J" lift. Have ARB bumper sitting and waiting for the winch. Tires are on order!

Throw some trim packers/coil spacers/Mr Gasket 1" spacers up fron then , or you'll be stink buggin all over town. :frown:

Great find. Nice rig! Congrats.

I have the same colour too!

Drove it back 1300 miles to home, no problem, great feeling!

Will post some pics too

Cheers

Finished it!

I have completed my 80! For the time being that is, does it ever really end? I am enjoying this rig a lot and can't wait to see what it can do. I still have the "rake" going on but so far it doesn't bother me. I didn't want to put packers in the front end and mess up the camber, I did the OME caster correction and just took it to check the alignment and everything was within spec.

Jealous of that color!

Good Score!

Yup, Moonglow pearl! Same as mine. Best color except for Sage.

Nice rig, lockers and fairly low miles for the model.

You done good!!!!!!!!

Very nice, well thought out mods. Where did you get the cargo barrier?

Man-A-Fre. Not the funnest thing to put in, was harder to install in the 80 than the one on my 60.
