One pig did not use up enough of my time/money.

This one is a December 72 production date. Little hammered, but not as bad as my 77s body where rust/rot is concerned. Came w/ 2 back seats, and a modified recovered front seat. Spare bumpers, spare tire and spare wiring harness. No transmission or tcase or drive shafts. Suspension is stock. It has sun visors. Got a nice refinished grill, and a later model 2f w/ ps pump, smog pump, alternator, a/c brackets, big cap electronic dizzy, carb and air cleaner housing. I need to get the outer upper and lower front fenders and a brake/clutch pedal bucket assy, hydraulic cylinders, and gearboxen. There may be some bits and pieces left over. It's going to be a long build, but that's ok, my boy won't be old enough to drive it (on road) for another 10 years or so.

You think YOU have a problem! Bought a nice one to drive two years ago, then sold it. But somehow ended up with three of 'em hanging around. (Well, actually two and a half.) We ought to call 'em rabbits, not pigs, since they appear to breed like bunnies.
Anyone else lay claim to four Pigs in two years? Here's the three that'll combine to make one. The blue/white carcass will get sold by the pound once the body swap between the first two is done. The last one, a '69 with some celeb history, will be on the market along with a bunch of spare parts, when I'm done. I'll end up with a pretty straight, virtually rust free, '74 with SBC, 4spd, and disc front.
And then maybe start developing some form of Pig methadone...which ought to pay for it all.

Problem

Ha! I'm feelin a lot better! My problem isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was. I've only got 1 FJ55, 8 other loves, projects - investments, toys, or as my other (we're still argueing about whos the better ) half calls them rolling money pits! Someday the dogs and I are gonna roll off over the horizon in the FJ55 and she'll miss us then. Well she will!

OK Maybe not? ;)

Bob:
Notice you have a 916. I also have a 914-6 we bought new. Also a Model A pickup, an F150 Super Crew, and a boat to keep the 3 pigs company. We just sold my wife's '68 Karmann Ghia...it's headed off to Scotland.

As you can tell by my signature I have the same problem! But only one 55..........so far.

9.5 Cruisers, 73 TVR, 65 Griffith, 63 MB, and a Camryzlle fo shizzle..I got the same problem as Ige...garage, yard, and the occaisional former plant site across the country...just never seems to be enough room for the addiction. Although, with 2 in school beginning next month...the herd may need to be culled a bit. Prolly next spring one or two (maybe 3) of the above will be put on the block.
