I can't believe I'm going to start a tire thread..

I was gonna say that the Moco is a good tire but I have really fallen in love with all my GEAX tires. Run the 2.3" Gato on front an the 2.25" Saguaro in the back most of the year. My only complaint is the Sag doesn't like wet, slippery stuff but hooks up like crazy in dry and loose over hard. During the winter months I run the Gato in front and a Specialized Purgatory Control in back.

Ended up with the ElMoco by Kenda in the stick-e version. So far, i like them!

Tires look great! Your front brakes look a little close together though. It's hard to get a nice even pull on each arm with them like that. I'd swap the brake pad spacers. Thick one on the inside/small one on the outside. This will move the arms out in relation to the pad contact. More cable pull and more room for perfect adjustment. .02

I'll take a look, thanks!

Another vote for the Geax Saguaros.

Put these on the :princess: mb and all good.

Back to the original topic......
I just had new Maxxis Holy Roller tires put on my old Giant mb. The size is 26x2.2 and they seem to ride great. So far I only have 1 mile on them, but I am doing a long ride tomorrow and I will give an update. If you check the reviews, you will be blown away at how happy people are with these tires.

I also run Holy Rollers on my Specialized Epic. Sweet tire great traction on hard pack

Nice Pre-Trek GF

Those Kenda tires look pretty good but I would have rec'd the schwalbe or NOS Conti tire (MOAB IIRC) from the 90s era. BEST. TIRE. EVER.

I got here late.
