Cool  Is that 2nd t/case a Spicer unit? What will they be used for. Most of the OZ 6x6 are for drilling rigs

Also, where do they find that centered diff, semi floater?

Ive seen this exact set up before somewhere, possibly from Canada with a Lada body attached to it:D

I'm researching building one of these up for work, however it will have either an extended troop carrier body, or another similair body made by a coachbuilder.

I dont think I want to see mine (will probably be a new turbo v8) troopy cut in half like that....

notice the leaf spring attach too? Solid centre and the ends are moving. Very cool.

What I really find interesting is the tires. Just like aircraft tires, only lines no lugs. I wonder what the purpose the tires would be for? Sand possibly?

cool the way the rear is attached to the center diff...

can you get more pics of the rear suspension?

nice setup...

There is another way of achieving 6x6 and having greater articulation and that is too power the rear most diff by an electric motor or a hydraulic motor attached to the diff. Thats how some of the oz conversions are done
You dont really need full time 6x4 at highway speeds.

AS you said its sand tires

Looks like a 9" Ford, the transfer box is probably bolted on with pinion/bearing/holder.
