Wong, why don't you install your spare 1HZ from your 75 into it? :hhmm:

After having the fun of turbo spooling around for about 6 years, an NA engine isn't in my list anymore!;) Moreover, I need more power out of a factory turbo engine ( human nature ). but definitely not now due to the tight schedule. :D

Wong, thought this maybe of a little interest.

Caught up with this hzj75 on the East West highway from KL to Kuantan this afternoon. Something caught my attention when my gps indicated we were both doing 145kmph!

The front of the 75 looks all new with something like a VDJ79 front end and suspension. The picci shown depicts a different colour for the front end, indicating a possible halfcut. The front end was also quite remarkedly clean as compared to the rear. No piccies of the front as a little dangerous to take the piccies.

As I eyed up the truck the driver smiled and waved at me!!

it might be using a 80 series front coil suspension :)

Well! At the first glance of the 75.
This is not an authentic 75.
1) This is a dyna box at the back.
2) The front end couldn't be VDJ79 or probably using 80 series coil as 79 coil is very rare in Malaysia, Furthermore is at the west.
3) The door swapped to Japan spec like what I'm having, not sure is electric window as I can't see what is inside.

I am pretty sure the front end could be a front cut, factory overfender, extended chrome front bumper could be with winch( not sure).:confused:

Lee!
Couldn't be a "ninja" axle as 80 series axle is much more wider than the body. Looks more like stock axle with coil conversion.:p

The front absorber was behind the coil, not inside.

I never seen one of these vehicles do 145kmph and also maintain 120 to 140 region for a good 30+km.

First of all, all HD cruiser front absorber is behind the coil except a LD LJ70 (Malaysia spec) not sure with other region.;) All KZJ series front absorber are inside the coil.:)

Secondly, you can do it at 150km/h, no problem at all except that the engine will be yelling at you " please reduce your speed, I'm a bit noisy here":grinpimp: If not mistaken, the tacho should be pointing at 3k at the speed of 150km/h which is not a healthy sign.
Personally, I haven't driven my 75 exceeding 120km/h. At the speed of 120, the tacho is showing at 2.7k ( heartache) and that was the time when I doing my overtaking.
100km/h is my normal speed and tacho at 2.4k which I think is a healthy speed. Or otherwise, with reducing gear set in the box or axle gear set installed.

My name boat am live in Thailand I very interesting rear bumper your hz75 car please help me some thing how I can oder the rear bumper my email boat20@windowslive.com it possible please help me to find part

BJ74 comes with 15BT + 80 Series axles.

Make my way up to Kota Kinabalu (the capital city of Sabah). Here comes one of my friend at KK BJ74 modded 15BT + intercooler, 80 series axle and coil sprung.
Wide fender to cover up the wide axle protrusion.
