HZJ75 Steering Shaft

Hi

Has anyone replaced the uni joints in the steering shaft going from the firewall to the steering box or what have others done to fix a very worn one?

the uni joints are staked and not secured by circlips as you most likely already know, removing them isn't something you could easily do at home but its something most engineering shops could probably remove and replace for you, all the uni's flogged out of my steering shaft 10 years ago so I just replaced it with a second hand steering shaft it was easier than trying to get my shaft repaired
