I am trying to get my HZ inspected in BC and the gov. inspector told me I need a AS 1 or 2 windshield and I am having an hard time trying to find one. The windshield was passed in Calgary but it wasn't supposed to. I am looking for someone with any info on this windshield the #470035 M-321 on the glass. Thanks:beer:

why do you say "it wasn't supposed to"?
the rules in BC are not necessarily bing practiced in Alberta. in Alberta if hte head lights can be adjusted they are accepted. if the tires are not cracked and have decent tread they do not have to be SAE approved. Glass does not necessarily need the code stamped on them, depends on the shop.

keep your BC bull**** in BC...

easy there....... do you have any info to add?

Chrushers has a point. BUT if you look on here guys talk about where to find replacement windshields for these imports.

Try searching "windshield" and go thru the threads. You may have to buy one if the local inspector won't allow yours, or if you can't find supporting documents.

Hey Crusher R E L A X. The Provincial inspection was done in Calgary and the rules about window glass in Alberta and BC say that it has to be AS 1 or 2 glass. The mechanic that inspected it pass the truck with substandard glass. A big no-no. Buy the way I am from Calgary! The dealership is probably getting it's import licence looked at. I am not ragging on Alberta at all. Just shady inspection which happens in BC too. All I want too know were I can get the windshield. I did a search and found nothing on HZJ 73. Thanks:beer:

I would think that the windshield will be the same as a BJ73 / BJ74...?
ENS
Mustang Connection
4 Wheel Auto
Maybe Toyota?

I don't know if it is the same as BJ 74-73? I tryed Toyota in Castlegar and they said I needed a part #. Where are the places you posted? Thanks:beer:

same as rag top 70s, 75 series trucks, 73/74 series... all 70 series land cruisers with fold down windshields share the same part number

I have two windshield #56111 60230 and 56111 60220 which is for my truck? The fellow at Nelson Toyota said he can get almost any part if he has the part #. Thanks:beer:

I just talked to a fellow at Mustang Connection and he told me the BJ 74-73 windshields DO NOT FIT HZJ 73 cruisers. The two # I have are for BJ 73 not HZJ 73 are different and won't fit.

I got a 1988 73 and a 1995 75 and I just went and checked and they look the same to me. The fold down windscreen is also interchangeable.

I think someone has a BJ70 or post '98 78/79 series windscreen mixed in with them.

The BJ70 would be higher and wider

The windshield I have is 20 1/2 -21" high I assume the front windshield folds down in the HZJ 73. I thought they would be interchange able but I was told there slightly different in width. Any Toyota parts numbers would be great.
