So I've got a bunch of cables I need to fab up for my 8274 winch, and I picked up one of these 16 ton crimping tools off Amazon:
Since I was only born with two hands, and help around the shop is scarce (I've tried to get the cat enthused, but he's not interested), I figured a mounting base was in order.
This is what I came up with:
Went a bit over the top and used red oak. I glued up a couple pieces (and some scrap oak) to make the thicker sections. I made the base long/wide enough to clamp to a variety of places.
Now to crimp some terminals and get that 8274 project done...
