That's probably on of Missipboy's buddies.

So what's the thought on lunchbox lockers.

They work and work well.

The truck is fully locked when he locks the hubs in the front. Just like you when you turn the dial and flip the arb switch.

I am running one it my 4runner and can't tell it is there until I loose traction and then it is locked. Also have one to install on the 80.

Thanks.

My dad is a little worried with expense after he buys it. I told him not too worry.
I know some good land cruiser mechanics in jackson that work for beer. ;)

or cherokee gift certificates:)

If it's gonna sit at the hunting camp i think it would be a great truck. it burns some oil, so for dd duties it might need some freshening up. i went with him when he bought the truck a few years back in wichita, ks. the front bumper, winch, aux lights, lockers and tires are all new since then. that rust seems to be the only place on it and it's not that bad. my buddy who bought it in wichita actually traded it to another buddy of mine. feel free to give me a call if you want-i'll be glad to tell you what i think 662 519 3240

lunch box lockers is what the people even redder than us call auto-lockers... Aussies, Lock-rites, etc...
If he calls it a lunchbox locker, then I'll betchya a mater sammich that he calls it a straight-axle too.

All my friends not on this forum call them lunchbox lockers... i do live in AuBarn afterall...

There is a steal on a mid 80's military CUCV Blazer down here right now. the guy was asking $2200 and just dropped his price to $1000. It's kinda rough but no real rust problems. Needs batteries but I've seen it run down the road at 70mph or so with no smoke or issues. Plus that 'ol 6.2 diesel will get you about 20mpg. No radio, ac, or anything like that but great for a hunting truck... I thought about buying it and turning it for a few bucks but just too much on my plate right now...

Sorry guys but NO. The CUCV Blazers all got the half ton axles (GM Corporate ten bolt front and 12 bolt rear I believe):frown:. The 5/4 ton Chevy trucks all got the one ton stuff.

the jap mimi trucks are nice but look for a older honda 4 wheeler, honda 400 foreman or 450 foreman for example that meats the following. under 1200 miles, and do not get a electric s*** on the older bikes 02 and under if u want electric shift get a 03 and up hope this helps. 4 wheelers are cheap and get in tight spots save the cruisers for the rocks :D
